Adolescent ADAE is designed to aid adolescents
(13 - 18 years of age) who are experiencing legal or other difficulties due to their alcohol and/or other drug use. This is generally a court ordered program. Progress reports are submitted to the court or court officer monthly or more frequently, if deemed necessary. Participants who attend with a parent of guardian are required to attend 16 once-a-week sessions. Those attending without a parent or guardian are required to attend 22 once-a-week sessions. The program is based on the 12 Step Program with strong emphasis on a continuing care plan designed to encourage a substance abuse free lifestyle. This is a fee-per-session program and is determined by family economics.
Adult LIOP is designed to aid adults who are experiencing legal, employment or other difficulties due to abuse of alcohol and/or other drugs. The program helps people develop the skills necessary to begin an ongoing program of recovery. Group sessions introduce
clients to the 12 Step Program and educate participants about abuse and addiction. This is a fee-per-session program. Clients are generally referred to this program through the court system. Random urine drug screens or breath tests may be administered at the discretion of the program facilitator. Regular monthly progress reports are made by the program facilitator and given to the court or court officer.
