Professional Referral Sources We Work With

Mirror Lake Recovery Center’s Professional Referral Sources

In addition to providing life-changing services to our clients and their families, Mirror Lake Recovery Center also takes great pride in the many productive relationships that we maintain with professionals in our community and throughout the United States. Over the years, collaborative efforts between Mirror Lake and referring professionals have enabled many men and women to finally overcome the obstacles that had been preventing them from living healthier and happier lives, and we welcome every opportunity to work with professionals who have not previously referred a client to our program.

The following is a partial list of the types of individuals and organizations who most commonly refer clients to Mirror Lake Recovery Center:

  • Psychiatrists
  • Psychologists
  • Primary care physicians
  • Case managers
  • Hospitals
  • Emergency rooms
  • Urgent care clinics
  • Nurses
  • Clinicians
  • Other treatment centers
  • Police officers
  • DUI attorneys

Our initial goal when working with a referral source is to make the process as efficient and effective as possible. With one phone call, a referent can start the intake process, secure in the knowledge that one or more members of the Mirror Lake team will be working diligently to develop a personalized treatment plan that will address the specific issues that the referent has identified. This phone call can be made at any time, day or night, as our staff members are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to facilitate the admission of referred clients.

Working With Your Client

Your Client’s Time at Mirror Lake Recovery Center

Once a prospective client is admitted, that person will be assigned a case manager, who will be the primary point of contact for the referent. With the consent of the client, case managers will make contact within the first 72 hours that the client is in our care to provide the referent with the name, phone number, and e-mail address of the client’s counselor.

With the client’s permission, the referring professional can receive regular updates on the client’s progress while he or she is in our care. We work with the referring professional to determine the type and frequency of information that he or she would like us to provide. Also, if all parties agree, the referring professional can even participate in counseling sessions during the client’s time at Mirror Lake.

When a client has completed his or her time at Mirror Lake Recovery Center, we will work to return the client to the care of the individual or organization that made the initial referral.

Starting with admission, continuing through treatment, and ending with the discharge planning process, Mirror Lake places a premium on maintaining consistent, open, and transparent communication with referring professionals.
